St. Luke's is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to our employees that are competitive in the marketplace and designed to meet the unique needs of our employee population.

Insurance
Full-time and eligible part-time (those who work 20 hours or more per week) employees may choose between several insurance plans. Eligibility begins the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.

Medical Plan
Three plans are available, with your choice of co-pays/co-insurance and deductibles.

Dental Plan
Choose from three plans through Washington Dental Insurance and Delta Dental.

Vision Plan
Coverage is available for frames and lenses/contact lenses.

Life Insurance
Basic Life/Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage of 1X the annual salary for employee. Spouse coverage, $2,500; dependant child, $2,500.

Short-term Disability
After a 30-day elimination, 70 percent of salary, up to a maximum benefit of $500/week. Payable up to 13 weeks.

Long-term Disability
After a 120-day elimination, 60 percent of pre-disability salary, to a max benefit of $10,000/month. Payable to age 65.

Health Care and Dependent Care Accounts.

Paid Time Off
Full-time and eligible part-time employees receive:

Vacation
Employees earn between 13 and 23 days off, based on years of service. Accrual begins your first day, eligibility begins after six months of employment.

Sick Leave
You will accrue 12 working days per year. *Hours are calculated on a pro-rated basis. Accrual begins your first day, eligibility begins after three months of employment.

Personal Leave
After one year of service (for employees with 96 hours or more of accrued sick leave), you have the option to convert sick leave to personal time off. The number of hours is based on accrued sick leave in a payroll year and length of service.

Paid Holidays
Eligible employees receive pay for six national holidays.

Retirement
All employees may participate in retirement benefits.

403(B)
All employees may contribute an unlimited percentage of pay through a payroll deduction on a pre-tax basis, up to the maximum amount allowed by the IRS. INHS will match 50 percent of your contribution, up to 3 percent. Eligibility begins your first day of employment.
Vesting: year 1, 33%; year 2, 66%; year 3, 100%.  You must work 1,000 hours in a plan year to receive vesting service credit for that year.

Retirement Plan
After one year of employment, INHS will contribute 3.5 percent of your gross annual income.
Vesting: 2 years, 20%; 3 years, 40%; 4 years, 60%; 5 years, 100%. You must work 1,000 hours in a plan year to receive vesting service credit for that year.

ShiftPlus
ShiftPlus is a convenient, web-based program for St. Luke's employees to easily view schedules and request open shifts from any computer, anytime, anywhere. ShiftPlus provides greater convenience and flexibility for employees to request and work additional shifts beyond core schedules, and even beyond standard work locations, when qualified to do so. In addition to scheduling, ShiftPlus rewards employees with non-monetary points that are earned for requesting and/or being awarded a shift. Points are accumulated and redeemed for rewards, much like airline frequent flyer or credit card point programs. Employees have the option to manage their own reward selection and fulfillment process through a tiered online merchandise catalog with hundreds of reward items.
