The Northwest Biofeedback Center at St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute offers advanced treatment programs designed to improve a patient's well-being and ability to manage pain. The Center's specially trained staff helps patients use state-of-the-art technology to evaluate and measure muscle tension, skin temperature, heart rate, blood pressure and more.
Treatments are individualized to the needs of patients and incorporate behavioral therapy with traditional (EMG, temperature, respiratory, GSR) and newer forms of biofeedback treatments, including:
- Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
- Peak Performance Training (PPT)
- Neurofeedback
If necessary, the program integrates physical therapy techniques with behavioral therapy to provide a holistic treatment approach.
